Ripped From The Solicits…

So, a small number of preview solicits have come out from DC, and I noticed some interesting elements in the JLA #14 cover.
Churchill was clearly dying to draw this.
It even has an viable excuse for women to thrust their chests forward.

Actually, that’s subtle as Churchill goes.
Which is sad, but makes me relieved. I know Meltzer had to reign in Turner’s covers and some of Benes stuff, and I was afraid the new writer would be unable to stop a cheesecake explosion.

Oh, wait, those white lines are pincer thingies! Uh, okay, I like that Superman is really crying.

For which part of my heart goes sad. At least we are forced to endure less loving depiction of all the women’s pursed, collagen-filled lips.

It looks to me that the only ones crying are Superman and Vixen. Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl look like they *might* be crying, and if that, only a little.
