It’s an awesome, fun comic about a teenage girl who LOOKS like a teenage girl (boobs? what boobs?), ACTS like a teenage girl (ok, a teenage girl with mad skateboarding and ninja powers, but still), and does it all without being particularly girly or sexualized. Street Angel is pure, undiluted awesome. It may cause uncontrollable grinning and possibly spontaneous jumping-up-and-down. It is homeless-aware, girl-positive without being sappy or preachy, and chock-full of ninjas (who are just sort of casually inserted into day-to-day life).

It’s also just a damn good comic. I can’t express how happy I am to have found something I love this much, both aesthetically and ideologically.
